Yumm! Liverworst!

Ok, so no pics from the cool new camera phone, but not because I don't have the phone, rather, I haven't gone anywhere. Well, we went to bl@ckbuster yesterday, but who wants to see pics of that?

Jason came home yesterday complaining that someone threw something on his car. "grapefruit or a sandwich or something" So, before we went to bl@ckbuster, we got out the paper towels and some water, and some dish-soap, and went down to the car.

when we were 10 ft away, I could tell it wasn't grapefruit or a sandwich. It was puke. Some sailor puked on Jason's car.
hehe

Jason kept saying, "I thought it smelled familiar, but I couldn't place my finger on it."

So, today is the day before thanksgiving, and if you're in my family, today should be included in the holiday. Today, you finalize recipes, bake pies, prepare stuff for snacking, defrost the turkey...

Traditionally, we only eat one "meal" on Thanksgiving. Usually early in the afternoon. The rest of the day we eat cheese/meat/crackers and pie and cookies. When we lived in Illinois, mom used to go to this little butcher shop (I think) and would come home with a roll of salami, bologni, and my favorite, liverworst. Who knew that the pickiest child eater would like liverworst!

I think the snacking in the morning was my favorite part of the day.

If I don't hear back from my client today, I'm going ahead and buying my plane ticket for house hunting this afternoon. Buying a plane ticket makes it seem sooooo much more real.
